Advent begins not with sentiment but with struggle. In a world of injustice, violence, exhaustion, and inequality, what does “peace on earth” actually mean? The story of Jesus begins with a cry for justice and ends with hope that change is not only possible, it’s promised.
November 30: First Sunday of Advent “Still Waiting for Justice”
December 7: Second Sunday of Advent “Make Room for Change”
December 14: Third Sunday of Advent “When Hope Feels Fragile”
December 21: Fourth Sunday of Advent “God with the Marginalized”
December 24: Christmas Eve “Peace for a Broken World”
EVENTS
This Christmas Eve, our special offering will support Habitat for Humanity of Hall County as they work to complete the final home in the Copper Glen subdivision. Together, we have the opportunity to bring hope, stability, and a brighter future to a local family in need. Our goal is to raise $100,000—enough to fully fund the construction of this home and help finish what we started. Join us in giving generously and making “peace on earth” a reality right here in our community.
